Inspired by the talented musicians of his youth within the community in which he grew up, Ethan's early musical journey was guided by his best friend and mentor Jake Kants, with whom he formed the band "Doppelganger." Ethan credits Jake for teaching him his first chords, and together they honed their craft and created original compositions that left a lasting impact on Ethan's musical style.
